Sins of a Solar Empire is a third person space aged strategy game there are 3 races to choose from and a varied amount of ships for each to use. You are expected to colonise new planets to gain more resources to be able to conquer the whole of the map. Maps vary in size from really small to massive. We had one game that lasted for almost 80 game hours!
There are 3 expansion packs for this game and both bring new features for the game. If you like large space battles then this is the game for you. The 3 expansion packs bring the game to life by adding star-bases to the game an diplomacy, this is great for my style of playing as the star-bases allow me to do my standard take and hold tactics.
I have been making some of my own maps for this and find them great to play.
